CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Zebstrika reacts as quickly as lightning and gallops fast enough for its passing to sound like thunder. When provoked or angry, its mane sends electrical arcs in several directions. The Pokédex stresses its fierce temper and the danger of approaching carelessly. Its speed therefore does more than carry it from place to place: it accompanies an electrically charged body whose retaliation can reach well beyond its intended opponent.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Black compares Zebstrika's reactions to lightning and the sound of its gallop to thunder. Pokémon X describes electrical arcs shooting from its mane when it feels provoked. The storm it evokes therefore involves both the sound of its running and its electric discharges.
