CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Noivern crosses the sky on moonless nights, when darkness helps it surprise prey. The ultrasonic waves emitted by its ears can break large boulders and injure an opponent before it closes in with its fangs. Its violent temperament nevertheless has an unexpected limit: ripe fruit, its favourite food, can make it very docile. The Pokédex thus brings a formidable sonic weapon together with a simple taste that changes how it reacts to those who approach.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Sun states that offering Noivern ripe fruit can make it surprisingly docile, despite its usual violence. Pokémon Y credits it with ultrasonic waves capable of shattering large boulders. Its diet therefore offers a striking contrast with its hunting tools.
