CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Float Stone removes its holder's Retreat Cost. The Tool helps it leave the Active Spot without requiring a given quantity of Energy for retreat. It does not immediately move the holder when attached. Its text also does not promise to erase other effects that may apply to that Pokémon: it specifically changes Retreat Cost.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Float Stone removes Retreat Cost regardless of its original value. This is not a reduction limited to one or two Colorless requirements. The Tool nevertheless states no automatic switch with a Benched Pokémon when attached.
