CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Sordward & Shielbert chooses a Trainer from your discard pile, then asks the opponent whether you may return it to your hand. If they agree, you recover that card; if they refuse, you draw three cards. The Supporter presents the opponent with two possible benefits for you: known, targeted recovery or a draw whose contents are not chosen.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Refusal does not block the effect entirely: it triggers the three-card draw. The proposed recovery target is a Trainer without restriction to Supporters alone among the discarded Trainer categories.
