CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Crispin searches your deck for up to two basic Energy cards of different types. You reveal them, put one into your hand, attach the other to one of your Pokémon, and shuffle. The search thus divides resources between immediate field preparation and a card retained for later. The two Energy cards must not share a type when found together, even though their destinations differ.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Crispin does not gather two interchangeable Energy cards: when it searches for two, their types must differ. It also provides two destinations, the hand for one and a Pokémon for the other. Both searched cards must be basic Energy.
