CARDEX BACKGROUND
For Snorlax, the world seems to revolve around its next meal and the sleep that follows. Its rest is so peaceful that someone on its belly hardly seems to disturb it. This indifference gives it a reassuring, almost welcoming air. Yet stories of villages whose food supplies it devours are a reminder that its enormous appetite can disrupt life around it.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Snorlax's diet goes beyond what many others could tolerate. Pokémon Shield describes a stomach that can handle mouldy or rotten food without being affected. Its appetite therefore also relies on remarkably resilient digestion.
Quoted source text is retained in the card’s printed language so this exact printing can be identified. The CarDex background above is translated into English.
