CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Drampa lives in high mountains but sometimes comes down to towns to play with children. It is sociable and watches over its young friends when danger arises. This gentleness does not make its anger harmless: its breath can destroy its surroundings, and one account shows it violently punishing those who torment a child. The Pokédex thus gives the same Pokémon two faces, protective in friendship and fearsome when it believes that friendship needs defending.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Sword places Drampa’s habitat above 3,000 metres in altitude, while recounting its visits to towns to play with children. Pokémon Shield explains that its gusts can become destructive when it gets angry.
