CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Sonia offers a search directed either toward Basic Pokémon or basic Energy. The player can retrieve up to two cards from the chosen category, reveal them, and add them to their hand before shuffling the deck. This support therefore prepares a uniform reserve: the wording does not offer a freely mixed pair of Pokémon and Energy.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Sonia's choice concerns two distinct branches: up to two Basic Pokémon or up to two basic Energy cards. Taking one card from each category does not match the alternative written into this search effect.
