CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Dark City removes the Retreat Cost of Basic Darkness Pokémon in play on both sides. The Stadium combines type and stage criteria to offer free movement. It does not directly switch the Active Pokémon or reduce those Pokémon's attack costs when they remain in battle.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

A Darkness Evolution does not benefit simply because its type matches. Basic Pokémon of another type are also excluded even if Darkness Energy is among their attached cards.
