CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Bronzong appears in old stories as a bringer of rain. People prayed to it for harvests, and some tales even credit it with opening a passage to another dimension. Even today, the Pokédex relates that its anger manifests as a rumbling sound like a bell. It can sometimes be discovered buried underground. Between unearthed object, strange sound and agricultural belief, the species preserves a trace of the hopes humans placed in the return of water.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Shield explains that Bronzong’s patterns intrigue scholars: several believe it may not be native to Galar. This remains a hypothesis. It shows that its appearance continues to raise questions, even where the old prayers for rain are known.

Once during your turn (before your attack), you may choose a card from your hand and put it on top of your deck. Then, search your deck for up to 2 basic Energy cards, show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. This power can't be used if Bronzong is affected by a Special Condition.
