CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Max Potion removes all damage from one of your Pokémon, then discards all Energy attached to it. The Item exchanges complete healing for the loss of its Energy preparation. The choice is not limited to the Active Pokémon and specifies no particular stage. Energy does not return to your hand: it leaves the holder for the discard pile after healing.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Max Potion does not heal a fixed amount of damage: it removes all damage from the chosen Pokémon. The Energy consequence concerns that same teammate. The text then requires discarding all its Energy without offering a selection to keep.
