CARDEX BACKGROUND
Meganium releases a fragrance from its petals that calms minds and reduces aggression around it. In battle, it can use this scent to soothe an opponent rather than immediately strike. Its breath is also described as able to restore vigor to wilted plants. The Pokédex thus presents a Pokémon whose influence on others travels through the air it releases, in peaceful encounters and confrontations alike.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Omega Ruby locates Meganium's soothing effect in its flower's fragrance, even during battle. Pokémon Black credits its breath with an effect on wilted plants. The entries describe different actions arising from its breathing and petals.
