CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Miltank has long been raised for nutritious milk enjoyed by humans and Pokémon. Production requires regular care: without daily milking, its health can decline. Pasture quality and the season also change the milk's taste. Despite its place on farms, its build lets it defend itself in battle. The Pokédex therefore shows a farming partner whose well-being depends as much on the attention it receives as on the richness of its grass.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Sun credits Miltank with up to twenty liters of milk a day and links its flavor to pasture quality. Pokémon Shield says daily milking is necessary for its health. Milk production therefore also entails responsibility toward the Pokémon.
