CARDEX BACKGROUND

About the species

Liepard approaches prey silently and often strikes from behind. Its elegant silhouette conceals muscles made for rapid attacks, especially at night. The coat that attracts so many Trainers can make them overlook its aggressive, unpredictable temperament. Within its territory, it also competes with Thievul for space. The Pokédex therefore places two true impressions side by side: an animal admired for its appearance and a hunter whose beauty makes it easy to underestimate.

This account describes the species in the video games. It does not describe its Trainer’s history or that of this copy, and does not identify the depicted form or sex.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Shield identifies Liepard’s territorial rivalry with Thievul. Pokémon White describes its silent approach from behind. These details place its elegance back into the life of a predator that must surprise prey and defend its space.
