CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Carmine lets you discard your hand to draw five cards. A particular permission accompanies this refresh: if you go first, you may use this card during your first turn. The support can therefore intervene very early to replace starting resources. This change nevertheless requires giving up the entire hand without retaining potentially useful cards held before the effect.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Carmine explicitly states that it can be used on the first turn of the player going first. This detail accompanies its refresh effect without changing the draw: after discarding the hand, the player still receives five cards.
