CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Jasmine's Gaze reduces damage from opposing attacks to all your Pokémon by thirty during the opponent's next turn. The reduction is calculated after Weakness and Resistance. Pokémon that enter play are also covered. The Supporter therefore prepares collective protection for a limited time, rather than covering only teammates already present when you use it.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Jasmine's Gaze applies after Weakness and Resistance are calculated. Its text includes new Pokémon entering play during the protected period. It reduces attack damage without stating a general cancellation of the attacks' effects.
