CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Taillow leaves cold regions to find a warmer climate and can travel three hundred kilometers in a day. Despite its youth, it defends its territory against powerful opponents. This bravery sometimes disappears under excessive hunger, when it starts crying. The Pokédex also recounts the loneliness of a bird recently out of the nest that calls at night and seeks Wurmple for food.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Y puts Taillow's travel at three hundred kilometers a day when seeking warmth. Pokémon Alpha Sapphire describes it newly out of the nest, sometimes crying at night. This long migration is therefore undertaken by a young bird that remains vulnerable.
