CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Poipole comes from another world, where its agreeable nature makes it a valued travel companion. This welcoming portrait contrasts with how it attacks prey. The stinger on its head sprays venom, and the Ultra Beast cackles as it showers its target. The two entries thus show a Pokémon capable of pleasantly accompanying a traveler while retaining a very real toxic weapon in its own body.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
The French version of Ultra Sun presents Poipole as a valued travel companion in its world. Ultra Moon describes very different behavior: it cackles while spraying venom from its head stinger when targeting prey.
