CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Scream Tail has only one known reported sighting in the Pokédex. Its appearance recalls a creature drawn in an old expedition journal, but that comparison does not reveal its history. A paranormal magazine goes much further, comparing it with a Jigglypuff that supposedly lived a billion years ago. The game presents this age as a magazine claim, not verified dating. Observation remains rare, while the stories surrounding it reach astonishingly far into the past.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
The billion years associated with Scream Tail comes from a paranormal magazine cited in Pokémon Violet. Pokémon Scarlet mentions one sighting and a resemblance to an expedition drawing; neither entry confirms this spectacular date.
