CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Electropower increases the damage of your Lightning Pokémon's attacks against your opponent's Active Pokémon by thirty during the turn it is played. The bonus is calculated before Weakness and Resistance. The Item affects a specific type of attacker for a limited period without becoming a permanently attached card on the benefiting Pokémon.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The bonus targets your opponent's Active Pokémon. The text does not increase damage sent to the Bench, nor does it turn attacks by your Pokémon of other types into boosted attacks.
