CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Abomasnow lives in snowy lands, where the blizzards it raises quickly cover the landscape with snow. It can use this veil to disappear among the peaks. According to some entries, its appearances also follow the flowering of plants in these regions. Despite its reputation as an ice monster, it protects Snover when Darumaka threaten them, striking intruders with its large arms. The Pokédex thus shows a powerful guardian of its wintry territory.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Sword describes Abomasnow driving away Darumaka that attack Snover. Pokémon Black links its appearances to the blooming of plants in snowy lands. Its presence therefore does not only herald a storm: it also follows a seasonal cycle.
