Only a Bisharp standing above every other member of a vast army can evolve into Kingambit. Once it reaches this rank, it commands many fighters. Yet the Pokédex denies it a great strategist's talent: instead of devising complicated maneuvers, it keeps advancing through force. Its evolution therefore marks victory within its group's hierarchy without changing its preference for direct pressure when leading a battle.
