CARDEX BACKGROUND

The role of this Energy

Dark Metal Energy provides Darkness and Metal types while in play but represents only one Energy at a time. You attach it to one of your Pokémon with no stated type restriction. The card does not count as basic Energy outside play and has no effect beyond that Energy supply.

Background on this Special Energy’s effect; the printed text, edition and finish of each card remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The two possible types do not double the amount of Energy available. The text distinguishes its nature as a Special Energy card from its function in play without announcing a Darkness damage bonus or Metal damage reduction.

Printed card effect

Lege Finstere Metall-Energie an 1 deiner Pokémon an.
