CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Morty can be played only if one of your Psychic Pokémon was Knocked Out during the opponent's last turn. The opponent then shows their hand; you choose two cards from it for them to shuffle into their deck. The Supporter turns that specific loss into a selection of opposing resources to remove temporarily from their hand.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The two chosen cards are not discarded: they return to the opponent's shuffled deck. Their category is unrestricted by this effect, while Psychic type concerns the lost Pokémon that allows Morty to be played.
