CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Kricketune crosses its sharp arms before its chest to produce cries with varied melodies. These sounds express its emotions, and Pokédex scientists are still studying their structure. In one village, residents even hold contests celebrating this vocal richness. Its song is therefore more than a forest sound: it serves personal expression and arouses the curiosity of human listeners.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
Pokémon Black mentions a village holding contests devoted to Kricketune's cries. Pokémon Y notes that these melodies convey its emotions and interest researchers. The same song thus becomes both a popular event and a subject of study.
