CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Garganacl attracts other Pokémon with the mineral-rich salt it produces. Some simply come to lick its surface. It can rub its fingers together and sprinkle this salt on an injured Pokémon. The Pokédex says even serious wounds then heal quickly. Its presence among others therefore involves more than a resource they seek: Garganacl can also directly help when their bodies are hurt.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Scarlet describes Garganacl sprinkling salt on an injured Pokémon after rubbing its fingers, with a healing effect even on severe wounds. Pokémon Violet adds that other species gather near it to lick its mineral salt.
