CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Brave Bangle increases its holder's attack damage by thirty against the opponent's Active Pokémon if that target is a Pokémon ex. The holder must itself have no Rule Box. The calculation comes before Weakness and Resistance. The Tool therefore depends on a condition on each side of the battle rather than giving every holder a universal bonus against all possible targets.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Brave Bangle requires a holder without a Rule Box and an opposing Active Pokémon ex as its target. Both criteria apply together. The thirty-damage bonus occurs before Weakness and Resistance without erasing the combatants' other characteristics.

Printed card effect
