CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Nickit often feeds on what it steals from other Pokémon. Its soft pads muffle its footsteps and let it approach unheard. Once it has stolen food, it leaves cautiously and wipes away its tracks with its tail. The Pokédex emphasizes vigilance as much as cunning. The theft does not end when it has taken its meal: disappearing without a trail is part of its method.

A detail worth noticing

Nickit's tail plays a discreet role in its thefts. Pokémon Shield says it uses it to erase its footprints after escaping. Pokémon Sword attributes its silent approach to the softness of its paw pads.
