CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Fossil Excavator searches your deck or discard pile for a Trainer with Fossil in its name, or a Stage 1 or Stage 2 Evolution that evolves from a Fossil. The card is revealed and added to your hand. If the search uses the deck, it is shuffled afterward, distinguishing the two possible recovery zones.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

You do not take one card from each zone: the search concerns one eligible card from the deck or discard pile. Shuffling is required only when the deck was used to find it.

Printed card effect
