CARDEX BACKGROUND
Bronzong appears in old stories as a bringer of rain. People prayed to it for harvests, and some tales even credit it with opening a passage to another dimension. Even today, the Pokédex relates that its anger manifests as a rumbling sound like a bell. It can sometimes be discovered buried underground. Between unearthed object, strange sound and agricultural belief, the species preserves a trace of the hopes humans placed in the return of water.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Shield explains that Bronzong’s patterns intrigue scholars: several believe it may not be native to Galar. This remains a hypothesis. It shows that its appearance continues to raise questions, even where the old prayers for rain are known.
Quoted source text is retained in the card’s printed language so this exact printing can be identified. The CarDex background above is translated into English.
