CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Xerosic's Machinations asks the opponent to discard cards from their hand until only three remain. The Supporter reduces a hand exceeding that size without replacing it through a draw. Removed cards enter the opponent's discard pile rather than being shuffled into their deck, and the opponent performs this hand reduction.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The card sets a limit after discarding, not a quantity of three cards to throw away. A six-card hand loses three, whereas a four-card hand loses only one to reach the same result.
