CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Gliscor sometimes waits hanging upside down from a branch until prey comes within reach. It then glides down silently, catches the prey with its tail and bites it. A tiny air current can give it enough momentum to travel an immense distance without flapping its wings. The Pokédex presents a patient hunter that uses branches as observation posts and wind as a means of approach.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
Pokémon Black states that a weak current can carry Gliscor very far without a wingbeat. Pokémon X places it upside down beneath a branch before an ambush. Its silent flight therefore sometimes begins with a motionless wait.
