CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Karate Belt reduces its holder's attack costs by one Fighting Energy requirement when you have more Prize cards remaining than the opponent. The Tool responds to a specific situation of being behind rather than offering a permanent reduction. A tie does not satisfy the condition. Its text affects attack costs, not Retreat Cost or damage.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Karate Belt's reduction concerns a Fighting requirement, not Energy of any type. It also requires a strictly greater number of remaining Prize cards for its user. The text grants no bonus when the two players are tied.
