The Pokémon’s story
Yamask wanders among ruins carrying a mask said to represent the face it had as a human. Pokédex accounts say it was born from the soul of someone from an ancient people and retains memories of a past life. It sometimes looks sadly at this mask and is said to seek someone who can recognize it.
