Altaria-ex

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Altaria drifts among the clouds, its wings resembling masses of cotton. In flight, it sings in a clear voice that the entries compare to a soprano's. Those who hear it may feel as though they are being carried into a dream. The Pokédex thus combines calm movement, almost hidden in the sky, with a sound that can draw attention from far away. Its presence is sometimes revealed first by a melody, before its silhouette appears.

A detail worth noticing

Altaria likes to wrap its friends in its cottony wings and purr, Pokémon Black explains. This more intimate habit contrasts with the song heard from the sky. The same plumage that camouflages it among clouds becomes, on the ground, a way to show affection to those who approach it.
