The Pokémon’s story

Guzzlord is an Ultra Beast and seems almost constantly occupied with devouring something. Stories credit it with consuming entire buildings and even mountains, without presenting these feats as reliable observations. Another mystery accompanies this appetite: no droppings have been found. Yet in the world it supposedly comes from, it may be an ordinary organism. This contrast between its threat here and possible commonplace nature elsewhere makes its behavior even harder to understand.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Moon emphasizes that no Guzzlord droppings have been found despite its constant consumption. Pokémon Sun reports stories of swallowed buildings. Pokémon Ultra Sun suggests that it may be common in its home world, even though it is dangerous in ours.
