CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Choice Helmet reduces the damage its holder takes from opposing Pokémon-GX and Pokémon-EX attacks by thirty. The reduction applies after Weakness and Resistance. Its protection depends on the attacker's category without limiting the holder's type. It is not described as a reduction against every opposing attack.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
An attacker that is neither GX nor EX does not meet the printed condition. The Helmet targets attack damage; its text does not promise to cancel other effects applied to the holder.
