CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Armarouge owes its evolution to armor that once belonged to a renowned warrior. It wears this protection strengthened by psychic energy and flames. When attacking, it launches blazing fireballs. The Pokédex also describes it as remarkably loyal. Its equipment is therefore more than a costume: it changed the course of its evolution and accompanies the powers it uses in battle. Its former owner's reputation is part of that origin.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Armarouge's armor once belonged to a distinguished warrior, according to Pokémon Scarlet. Pokémon Violet adds that psychic and fire energy fortify it. Its protection thus connects an inherited object with the way it launches its attacks.
