CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Trumbeak eats Berries and keeps their seeds in its beak. If it encounters an enemy or prey, it shoots them in a burst. Scattered seeds can then grow into new plants, connecting its defense with surrounding vegetation. Its beak has another ability: bending the tip produces a wide variety of cries. Neighbors may find this bird noisy, but its calls and seeds show two very different uses for the same beak.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Sun credits Trumbeak with more than a hundred different cries, produced by changing its beak tip. Pokémon Ultra Moon notes that seeds it shoots around itself can germinate and become new plants.
