CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Fisherman returns four Basic Energy cards from your discard pile to your hand. It recovers resources already used or discarded without attaching them directly to your Pokémon. The text does not require all those Energy cards to share a type; being Basic Energy is the category criterion for this recovery.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Special Energy cards are not part of the described selection. Being in the discard pile does not make them eligible for Fisherman, which targets Basic Energy and directs it into your hand.
