CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Primarina turns its battles into performances, singing and dancing as it directs water balloons. Waves from its voice move these spheres and accompany its attacks. The Pokédex emphasizes the health of its vocal cords, because singing remains its main asset. It is sometimes called a diva when it leads a chorus in the moonlight. Its mastery of water therefore depends on vocal work as much as movement.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
Pokémon Sword attributes Primarina's control of water balloons to the waves of its singing. Pokémon Moon warns that its vocal cords must stay healthy. Its battle performance therefore relies on an organ as important as its aquatic abilities.
