CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Antique Jaw Fossil is played as a Colorless Basic Pokémon with sixty HP. It cannot retreat or be affected by Special Conditions. You may discard it from play during your turn, giving it a voluntary exit distinct from retreating or returning to your hand.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Being present as a Pokémon does not give it permission to retreat. Voluntary discard is separately authorized by the text and does not require paying another Pokémon's Retreat Cost.
