Investigación de Profesores

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Professor’s Research requires the player to discard their entire hand before drawing seven new cards. They do not choose only the cards they want to lose: the whole hand goes into the discard pile. The effect thus tells of a research gamble, leaving known options behind to discover a different continuation of play. A printing may depict a different professor, but the cards linked here all carry this same precise exchange between discarding and drawing.

A detail worth noticing

This version’s text does not shuffle the hand into the deck: it discards it before drawing. The difference is decisive for cards the player hoped to keep. The stated reward remains seven cards drawn, whatever the edition’s illustration.
