CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

When the wind carries away seeds caught in its fluff, Eldegoss spreads nutrients around it. Plants and Pokémon alike can benefit. Galar's inhabitants have also found another use for its fleece: threads drawn from the cotton on its head make a lustrous textile that has become a regional specialty. The Pokédex thus takes this fluff from landscape to workshop. It helps life around Eldegoss and supplies material sought after by humans.

A detail worth noticing

Eldegoss's cotton is used to make shiny thread considered a Galar specialty in Pokémon Shield. Pokémon Sword describes another role for this fluff: its nutrient-rich seeds travel with the wind and benefit nearby living beings.
