CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Latias is sensitive to human emotions. The Pokédex explains that a hostile attitude makes it ruffle its feathers and give a warning cry. Its down can also reflect light, allowing it to disappear from view or change appearance. This sensitivity gives the dragon a particular way to protect itself: reading the intentions around it, then responding with a warning or concealment.

A detail worth noticing

Cards Nos. 9 and 10 connect Latias and Latios through their attacks. Latias can heal 20 damage from itself if Latios is on the Bench; Latios gains 20 damage if Latias is there. No. 9 can also reattach a discarded basic Energy to a Benched Pokémon.
