The story behind this Trainer card

Lillie's Determination shuffles your hand into the deck before giving you a new one. You normally draw six cards, but eight if you have exactly six Prize cards remaining. This condition concerns your own situation, independent of the opponent's progress. The new draw can thus be larger while this precise number stays unchanged. Old cards are not discarded: they return among the deck's resources.

A detail worth noticing

Lillie's Determination has an exact threshold: six Prize cards remaining for the player using it. This is neither six or fewer nor a condition concerning the opponent. When the criterion is met, eight cards replace the usual six.
