CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Sparkling Crystal reduces the cost of the attack used by its attached Tera Pokémon by one Energy. That Energy can be of any type, as the text specifies. The Tool lowers an attack cost without adding an Energy card to the holder and reserves this benefit for the expressly named Tera category.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The reduction is not limited to a Colorless component of the cost. The text allows it to concern Energy of any type, distinguishing this Crystal from an effect that reduces only a Colorless requirement.
