The Pokémon’s story

Cinccino coats its white fur with an oily secretion that makes blows slide off. This fur attracts little dust or static electricity. Highly concerned with cleanliness, it also uses its oil to protect its nest. Humans seek it for its uses on skin or its commercial value. The Pokédex thus shows the same substance serving its defence, its home and interests beyond the Pokémon itself.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Moon presents Cinccino’s secretion as a remedy for dry skin. Pokémon Sword explains that it lines its nest with the substance for protection. This liquid is therefore more than the coating that deflects attacks from its fur.
