Énergie Prisme

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The role of this Energy

Prism Energy normally provides one Colorless Energy. When attached to a Basic Pokémon, it can instead provide the required Energy type from among all types, but still only one unit at a time. Its flexibility therefore depends on its bearer. On an Evolution Pokémon, the printed condition does not apply and it remains a Colorless resource. This choice between type variety and a one-unit limit distinguishes this Special Energy.

A detail worth noticing

Prism Energy's text, reprinted across several eras, retains two often-overlooked limits: a Basic Pokémon is required to benefit from all types, and the card provides only one unit at a time. All types therefore does not mean several Energy simultaneously.
