CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Tierno brings three new cards into the player's hand. It preserves resources already held: its effect requires no discard and returns nothing to the deck. This help can extend a turn's preparations by adding possibilities not yet known. Drawing still follows the deck's order, however. The player receives three cards without being able to demand a particular Pokémon, Energy, or Item among them.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

This Tierno card's text is as short as Hau's: both draw three cards. The difference from a complete hand refresh is concrete: the cards the player already held remain alongside the new ones.
